GALACTIC RAGER — GOLF MADNESS IS UNIVERSAL
Bad shots and golf-induced meltdowns apparently aren't limited to planet Earth. Galactic Rager takes a familiar golfer's frustration into outer space in an original Golfzilla design inspired by the outrageous character and rebellious spirit of 1980s skateboard art.
BORN FROM FRUSTRATION. BUILT FROM OBSESSION.
Golfzilla started with a simple question: Why does every golf shift board I’ve tried twist during the swing—even the plastic ones with spikes? And could I build one that doesn’t? What began as a challenge quickly became an obsession. I set out to create a more stable board that resisted twisting and delivered a smooth, controlled weight shift. But performance alone wasn’t enough. I wanted something that looked as good as it worked. The result is Golfzilla—a unique combination of innovative engineering, handmade craftsmanship, and bold artwork.
THE DUAL FULCRUM DIFFERENCE.
At the heart of every Golfzilla board is its innovative, patent-pending dual fulcrum design. Unlike traditional shift boards that can twist during the swing, Golfzilla’s unique construction is engineered to resist unwanted rotation while allowing a smooth, controlled side-to-side transition. The result is a more stable feel underfoot that helps golfers train proper weight shift and develop a more consistent swing. It’s a different approach to shift board training—designed to deliver stability, control, and confidence with every swing.
ONE DESIGN. ENDLESS PERSONALITY.
Every Golfzilla board shares the same innovative, high-performance design, but each has a personality of its own. From vibrant color combinations to outrageous, original artwork, every edition is designed and colored exclusively by Golfzilla. Each features its own colorful, humorous name and a distinctive combination of artwork, hand-dyed wood, and custom-colored fulcrums. The performance stays the same—the personality is entirely your choice. The result is a collection of golf training aids that look as much like works of art as they do pieces of golf equipment.
BOLD ART. PRINTED TO LAST.
Every Golfzilla design is printed directly onto the wood using advanced UV printing technology. No stickers, decals, or vinyl overlays—just bold, original artwork printed onto the board itself. The process produces sharp details and vivid colors, while a protective satin lacquer finish helps shield the artwork from everyday wear. The result is durable, eye-catching artwork that looks as impressive up close as it does on display.
NO GUESSWORK. JUST TAP, TAP, SWING.
The Golfzilla Shift Board teaches proper sequencing through one simple rhythm: Tap, Tap, Swing. Begin balanced with the board level beneath your feet. As you start your backswing, the board taps under your trail foot. At the top of the backswing, shift pressure toward your lead foot and complete the second tap during the transition. Once that second tap is complete, uncoil your hips through the shot.
Testimonials
... I’ve found the Golfzilla Shift Board to be an incredibly useful addition to range sessions. Many balance boards tend to twist or tip abruptly underfoot, but the anti-twist dual-fulcrum design on this one makes a massive difference.

...The construction of this thing feels truely bulletproof. The board is heavy and the rocker feet are solid. This is a very high quality piece of teaching equipment.

...The board itself is very well made. It's thick and sturdy, almost like standing on a skateboard deck, and the grip tape on top provides excellent traction so your feet don't slip during the swing.

QUALITY STARTS WITH THE WOOD.
Every Golfzilla board begins with premium Baltic birch plywood that I personally select from my local lumberyard. Chosen for its strength, stability, and distinctive wood grain, each sheet is carefully cut to precise dimensions before the corners are shaped and the edges rounded with a router. It's the foundation for everything that follows—from the hand-applied colors to the original artwork and custom fulcrums. Great craftsmanship starts with quality materials, and I believe every board should be built right from the very first cut.
HAND-DYED. NEVER ORDINARY.
Every Golfzilla board receives two carefully applied coats of wood dye, creating rich, vibrant colors that complement its original artwork and custom-colored fulcrums. I personally select each color combination to bring the entire design together while allowing the natural beauty of the Baltic birch wood grain to show through. Unlike ordinary painted surfaces, the translucent dye adds color without hiding the character of the wood beneath it. The result is a distinctive foundation for the artwork that makes every Golfzilla edition stand out.
FOUR COATS. BUILT TO PROTECT.
Every Golfzilla board receives four hand-applied coats of satin lacquer as part of its finishing process. The first two coats seal the wood dye and prepare the surface for UV printing. Once the artwork is printed, two additional coats are applied to help protect the graphics and wood from everyday wear. The result is a smooth, durable satin finish that preserves the vibrant colors while allowing the natural wood grain to remain visible. It's an extra measure of craftsmanship that helps every board look as good as it performs.
CUSTOM COLORS. ENGINEERED PERFORMANCE.
Every Golfzilla fulcrum is individually cast using high-quality urethane resin. I personally mix custom colorants to create bold, vibrant colors that complement each board's artwork and hand-dyed wood. But these aren't just decorative components. The dual fulcrums are engineered to provide rigidity, resist unwanted twisting, and create a smooth, controlled side-to-side transition during the swing. From mixing and pouring the resin to assembling the finished components, each step combines practical engineering with the colorful personality that makes Golfzilla different.
Common Questions
What is a golf shift board?
A Golf Shift Board is a raised platform that teeters from side to side. You stand on it while hitting golf balls, and it gives you immediate feedback on when your weight properly transfers from your trail foot to your lead foot during the swing.
What does a golf shift board help improve?
A Golf Shift Board teaches one of the most important moves in the golf swing—the shift. This move creates power and consistency. It's what helps you hear that solid crack when you strike the ball well. Not sure if you need one? Ask yourself a couple of questions. Do you struggle to generate power? Do you hit the ball fat or thin? If the answer is yes, chances are your weight shift could use some work.
Who should use a golf shift board?
Honestly, every golfer.
This question is kind of like asking who should buy a golf club—golfers. The shift is a fundamental part of the swing, and it's something that tends to get out of sync over time. Golfers often shift back too late, shift forward too late, or stop shifting altogether. A Golf Shift Board gives you a simple way to keep that movement sharp and get your swing back on track whenever it starts to drift.
Can I hit golf balls while using the Golfzilla board?
Absolutely.
In fact, that's exactly why I built it. One of my biggest frustrations with other boards was how much they twisted during use. After almost every shot, I'd have to step off the board, straighten it out, and reset. The Golfzilla Shift Board was designed differently. Its anti-twist design allows you to hit an entire bucket of balls without constantly getting off the board to reposition it.
What is the difference between a golf shift board, pressure plate, and a balance board?
They're basically the same thing. The terms golf shift board, pressure plate, and balance board are often used interchangeably. Different manufacturers simply use different names. I chose the name Golf Shift Board because it describes both the motion you're training and the product itself.
