Golfizilla Shift Board Instructions
The videos and written instructions below show how to get started with the Golfzilla Shift Board, how to use it correctly, and what it’s designed to teach you about proper pressure shift and sequencing in the golf swing. You’ll see how the board should remain centered at setup, load into the trail side during the backswing, and shift smoothly into the lead side before the downswing begins. Additional instructional videos from golf professionals explain why proper weight transfer and ground pressure are critical to consistent contact and efficient power.
STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS
1. Setup — Start Balanced
Step onto the board in your normal golf stance. Begin with your pressure centered so the board remains level and stable.
2. FIRST TAP — TRAIL SIDE
Start your backswing and allow pressure to move into your trail foot. The board should gently tap under your trail foot, confirming the correct pressure shift.
3. SECOND TAP — LEAD SIDE
As you reach the top of your backswing, begin shifting pressure toward your lead foot. Complete the second tap during the transition between the backswing and downswing.
4. SWING — UNCOIL
Once the second tap is complete, uncoil your hips through the shot. At impact, your belt buckle (or pant zipper) should be positioned just inside your lead foot rather than where it started at address.
5. FINISH BALANCED
Continue rotating to a balanced finish with nearly all of your pressure on your lead foot. At the finish, your belt buckle (or pant zipper) should be positioned over your lead foot.
