The Golfzilla Shift Board is designed to help golfers develop proper weight shift, balance, and timing through immediate feedback. As pressure moves from the trail side to the lead side, the board reinforces the sequencing needed for a more efficient swing and more consistent ball striking.
Unlike traditional center-pivot balance boards, Golfzilla's Patent-Pending Anti-Twist Dual Fulcrum System creates a wider, more stable platform designed to resist twisting while promoting smooth, natural movement throughout the swing.
Every Standard board measures 24" wide × 13" deep and is handcrafted in California from premium Baltic Birch plywood. Each board features custom-dyed wood, UV-printed artwork, routed edges, a durable protective finish, and high-grip tape.

Many traditional shift boards twist during the swing — especially center-fulcrum wood boards and plastic boards that use rows of vertical spikes. The Golfzilla Shift Board was designed to resist that movement. Its patent-pending dual-fulcrum system stays engaged with the ground to help reduce twisting during practice, allowing you to swing more aggressively without constantly repositioning the board after each shot. Built for hitting mats and grass. Not intended for hard indoor surfaces such as hardwood, tile, or concrete.

Every Golfzilla Shift Board is handcrafted in small batches in California using premium multi-ply Baltic Birch plywood selected for rigidity and durability. Each board is precision-routed, hand-sanded, sealed with protective polyurethane, and individually assembled and inspected for consistent quality and performance.

The Golfzilla Shift Board teaches proper sequencing through one simple rhythm: Tap, Tap, Swing. As the backswing begins, the board taps under the trail foot. Before the top of the swing, it taps toward the lead foot. Then you swing. This simple training cue helps golfers develop better timing, balance, pressure shift, and consistency through repeatable movement.

Absolutely.
In fact, that's exactly why I built it. One of my biggest frustrations with other boards was how much they twisted during use. After almost every shot, I'd have to step off the board, straighten it out, and reset. The Golfzilla Shift Board was designed differently. Its anti-twist design allows you to hit an entire bucket of balls without constantly getting off the board to reposition it.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A GOLF SHIFT BOARD, PRESSURE PLATE, AND BALANCE BOARD?
They're basically the same thing. The terms golf shift board, pressure plate, and balance board are often used interchangeably. Different manufacturers simply use different names. I chose the name Golf Shift Board because it describes both the motion you're training and the product itself.
